How We Do It

We stage both vacant properties and owner-occupied. For vacant properties, First Impression Design will do a quick walk-through of the property to assess what’s needed then we’ll provide you with a proposal — it’s that easy.


Each staging for a home that will be occupied during the sale begins with a consultation. We’ll assess what needs to be removed from the home as well as what furnishings and accessories need to come in. And, for those owner-occupied homes, we save you the sometimes uncomfortable conversation of telling a homeowner that they need to remove their tchotchkes in preparation for photographs and showings.


What Comes Next?

Once the staging proposal is accepted, we’ll coordinate the schedule with your team and get to work. Unlike some other staging companies, we don’t maintain a small inventory of items used over and over again for every home. We keep a large inventory of basic items that we use based on the property style and specific spaces you want staged. Then, with the intended buyer in mind, we carefully source the special pieces that will make your listings stand apart in a crowded real estate market.
